Profile

Stefano Sciolla is a partner in the Milan office of Latham & Watkins. He is the local Corporate Department Chair, Vice Chair of the firm’s Retail & Consumer Products Industry Group, and a member of the firm's Aerospace, Defense & Government Services Industry Group core team.

He primarily handles corporate law matters, and he has considerable experience advising clients on:

  • Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity deals
  • Divestitures
  • Strategic commercial contracts
  • Corporate governance and public company representation
  • Capital markets transactions

He regularly advises Italian and international clients in cross-border corporate transactions. He also has considerable experience in the aerospace and defense business, as well as in the energy sector.

Prior to joining Latham in 2010, Mr. Sciolla worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
